Packet 1: The Development of the Coach/Trainer

  • Development Lesson 1: How the IFCS is going to help you become a more successful Professional Fitness Coach.
    • (Trainers need an understanding about the business and how IFCS id going to help them, so they get “on-Board”)
  • Development Lesson 2: How to Deliver the Ultimate Fitness Experience – Your Job and What you are hired to do.
    • (Trainers need to know what the Client and the club are hiring them to do, and why.)
  • Development Lesson 3: The Coach’s Personal Life Goals and How working here can get you Closer to those goals.
    • (Trainers often times start working, but have no motivation. This lesson lets them discover why they need to do their job well for themselves, and thus help the club by being excellent.)
  • Development Lesson 4: Your Income, Responsibilities, and Plan
    • (Trainers often wait for other people, including the owner/manger to make them successful, this lesson goes over how much money the need to make, and lets them lay out a plan that will get them that money, through their own work)
  • Development Lesson 5: Beginning Professionalism as a Professional Fitness Coach/Trainer (points 1 thru 6, of 18)

Packet 5: Sales, Marketing and Tracking for Success

  • Development Lesson 1: Sales and Marketing Actions to Build Your Business
    • (Now that trainers have some success, they will need to know some basic marketing and sales techniques and actions they can do, in addition to the basics, to earn more money for themselves and the club.)
  • Development Lesson 2: Communication and Follow Up
    • (One of the largest complaints we see from clients is that the trainer only talks to them in the gym, the trainer makes the mistake of meaning they need to hang out and be friends. This gets into some problem situations. This lesson will show the trainer how to be a bigger part of the clients life, without adding too much time or difficulty into the trainer’s week.)
  • Development Lesson 3: Tracking Results of Marketing and Sales
    • (“I’m doing a tone of work, but I’m not making any more money.” Sound familiar, then as an owner/manger you ask, “Where do you need help?” the answer is either “I don’t Know!” or “Everywhere! This lesson teaches the trainer to track what is going on in their business, so they can ask intelligent questions and everyone knows the score.)
